After Care Program
This is a ministry designed for working parents with school-age children needing a safe, secure, Christian-led environment between the end of the school day and before parents arrive home from work.

Times of
Operation:

Weekdays (Mon.-Fri.) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
(Program will follow Polk Co. school system schedule.)

Costs:
|
$50 per child per week. (Multiple child discounts are available.)

Transportation:
|
Children are picked up from their school and transported back to the church in one of our 15-passenger vans.

Program:
|
Open to children from grades PreK-5 in Polk County Schools and from the Shenandoah Academy. During normal operating times, After Care workers will conduct limited activities for the purpose of providing recreation and enjoyment for the children. These activities may include games, Bible stories, arts/crafts, multimedia programs, or other activities as may be appropriate for the age and development of the child. Children are provided time for study/homework and a light snack will be provided daily. Parents will be expected to pick up their children from the church no later than 6 p.m. each day. |
